CA: Beignets and Coffee
Confession... we used a mix from Cafe Du Monde for this... my brother brought some back from New Orleans. However you still had to shape the dough (which was very wet) and deep fry it.
Very good, almost tasted like chinese doughnuts - as in its a little salty- but then covered in powdered sugar, it was GOOOOOD eats! This was also part of a New Orleans themed Father's Day feast.
