Some pics from the Oregon State Fair (2009) in Salem Oregon.
My favorite part (other than the pork) was the rodeo. These were teenage girls riding these horses FAST. Then there was a cow milking race, one rider had to rope and subdue a cow, the other guy had to milk em. crazy. didn't get any pics of that, it was too far away. We also visited some friends who show some mini-horses. very cool.
I like this blog post. really is a good question and stephen dubner start us off well. what do you think?
More good eats from our Seattle cooking day in my friend M's new house!
While on a trip to visit my friend in Seattle, we were invited to a dinner on his wife's parents boat... docked in the sound and had our dinner on the water. Beautiful and good!
